Nadine Ruth Bohannon was born June 27, 1922 in Bulo, Oklahoma to Blanche and Roscoe Skinner. She passed away December 5, 2016 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 8 days.

We are saying goodbye to a member of the greatest generation, a survivor of the Great Depression and World War II. She was a daughter, wife, mother, sister, homeroom mother, Sunday School Teacher, Election Board Worker, Grandmother, Born Salesman and a Gold Star Mother. Nadine gave with an open heart and forgave with no restrictions. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. Nadine was married to J.C. Bohannon on December 24, 1938 at Mangum, Oklahoma. They lived their lives and raised their family on the farm east of Sayre. They enjoyed 54 years of happiness prior to the death of J.C. in 1992.

Nadine was a member of the Queen of All Saints Catholic Church of Sayre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, SSGT Johnny Bohannon, U.S. Army, KIA in Vietnam, 2 sisters, Billie Wood of Phoenix, AZ and Maxine Davis of Georgetown, TX.

She is survived by her daughter, Billie Cook and husband, Earl, of Sayre, OK; her sons, James Bohannon and wife, Myra, of Englewood, KS and Mike Bohannon and wife, Donnelle, of Sayre, OK; 9 grandchildren, John Bohannon, Catrisa Burkes, Cynthia Dalgleish, Chad Bohannon, Joannie Fraser, Deanna Jones, Jimi Coats, Jason Bohannon and Jyl Bohannon, 14 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
