Jenifer Sue Bacon © Cheyenne Star 30 Aug 1951 Submitted by: Wanda Purcell Jenifer Sue Bacon, 3 years of age was electrocuted Monday when she touched a faulty light fixture in the bathroom of her home at Sayre.
Jennifer Sue was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Bacon, publishers of the Sayre Headlight Journal. A public service official said the child was standing on a stool brushing her teeth when she accidently touched a defective light fixture. Attempts to revive the girl with oxygen failed.
Survivors include her parents, one brother, Charles Edward Bacon, and grandmother, Mrs. C. E. Bacon.
Services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church at Sayre. Rev. Roy Ward and Rev. J. T. Means officiated.
Burial was in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery, Sayre, Oklahoma.
