Nyla Jean Campbell, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Norman. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, at Greer Funeral Home Chapel in Mangum, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Delhi Cemetery.

Jean was born in Sayre, Oklahoma, to John and Lena (Stagg) Hare on November 27, 1922. Prior to moving to Norman in 2011, she lived in Mangum, and was a loyal member of the First United Methodist Church in Mangum. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and will be missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Hare, her husband, Les Campbell, two brothers, Bill and Cletus Hare, and three sisters, Neta Stinson, Joy Garrison, and Bernice Campbell. She is survived by one brother, Bob Hare and wife, Sandy, of Norman, one brother-in-law, Bill Campbell, of N. Richland Hills, Texas, her care giver and dear family friend, Linda Tipton, of Mangum, and many nephews and nieces.
Memorial gifts may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mangum.
