Jo Lambert was born February 19, 1933 in Phoenix, Arizona to Pearl and Dennis McKelvey. She passed away March 20, 2016 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 1 day.
In 1954 Jo was married to Gordon Lambert in Altona, New York. They lived in Arkansas, New York, Massachusetts and Missouri before moving to Oklahoma to make their home in western Oklahoma where she lived in Clinton and the Beckham county area. Jo worked for many years as a waitress but her main "job" was raising and caring for her family. She loved working in her flower garden, playing cards and spending time with her dog, Prissy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, Josh Beeson, 3 brothers, John, Jim and Robert, and 3 sisters, Claire, Blanch and Patsy.
Jo is survived by her children, Danny Lee Stuart and wife, Kathy, Elk City, OK, Jeff Lambert and wife, Gena, Sayre, OK, Gordon "Gordy" Lambert and wife, Donna, Elk City, OK, Robert Lambert and wife, Darlene, Binger, OK, Bonnie Lambert and Julian Maldonado, Cheyenne, OK; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, a sister, Mickey Taylor, Eureka Springs, MO; a faithful companion, Prissy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
