All of Debbie's childhood and teen years were spent in Sayre,
graduating from Sayre High School in 1969. She met and soon, thereafter,
married the love of her life, Rusty Breeze, on May 24, 1969. They made
their home at Carter on the Breeze Centennial Farm, where Debbie shared
Rusty's love of farming and raising
horses. Her working career began in the early 1980's retiring in 2001.
She helped feed several generations of Carter kids with her homemade
rolls and green burgers. She was also known to sneak an extra snack to
the kids at the back door of the lunchroom.
She restarted her career with her
longtime cooking buddy, Marita, at the Bulldog Café at Sayre Campus of
SWOSU until her retirement. Debbie loved traveling and had been to
Greece, Italy, San Francisco, Chicago and other exciting places to visit
her beloved sister Jean. Debbie's family was the center of her life and
she loved spending time with her girls, nieces, nephews and grandkids.
