Ryan Lance Beeson was born April 19, 1983 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Sharon Ann and Robert Van Beeson and passed away May 17, 1998 in his home at the age of 15 years and 28 days.
Ryan was attending Sayre Junior High School.
He loved weightlifting, baseball, bowling and skating. Before his illness Ryan was a 4.0 student and had dreams of going to Harvard and becoming a research scientist.
Family and friends will miss his sense of humor and watching him make people laugh. His motto was "I am brave."
He was a member of the Grandview Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother and one cousin.
He is survived by his mother Sharon Cowherd, Sayre; his father Vandy Beeson, Sayre; three brothers, Richard Ban Beeson, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Brad Vance Beeson and Travis Joel Beeson, both of the home; maternal grandparents Ted Mayo, Sayre; and Wanda and Lee Dodd, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Mayrene and Donald Carey, Sayre; paternal great grandparents, A. J. and Velma Reeves, Midland, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 1998 at the Sayre Grade School Auditorium officiated by Mark Little, and assisted by Andy Taylor.
Interment was in the Carter Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
