Russell Babek was born January 2, 1962 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Roxie Onita (Hildebrand) and Laddie John Babek. He passed away March 9, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 7 days.

Russell was raised in Willow, Oklahoma and graduated from Granite High School in May of 1980. Russell married Vickie L. Garrett on November 20, 1992 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Growing up on a farm, Russell loved working with his dad, showing pigs and fishing. He worked for Atwoods for 32 years as Agricultural Department Head until an injury left him unable to work. Russell was a devoted husband and father. Even after losing his job he provided for his family with great love and care.

He was preceded in death by his father, Laddie Babek.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie, of the home; 2 children, Skyler and Mallory Babek, also of the home; his mother, Roxie Babek, Elk City, OK; 1 brother, Steven Babek and wife, Nita, Elk City, OK and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
