She passed away January 18, 2018 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 21 days.
Betty grew up in the Berlin community where she attended school. After her schooling she was married to Bobby Tillman at Elk City, Oklahoma in 1966. Together the made their home in Elk City where they raised their children and Betty was also a waitress at the Quality Inn and also the Kettle restaurant. After Bobby's death in 1985 she remained in the home in Berlin and continued working. She later met and was married to George M. Stewart, Sr. on February 12, 1990 in Wheeler, Texas. They made their home south of Sayre and Betty began working in the home healthcare industry until 2006 when she began working for Hutch's where she remained until her retirement. She was an avid OKC Thunder basketball fan, watching Dr. Phil on T.V. and spending time with family and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 2 sons, Bobby and Alonzo Tillman; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Stahlman and husband, Raymond, Elk City, OK; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.This site may be freely linked, but not duplicated in any way without consent.
