Trenton Isaac James Schmidt © Cheyenne Star 21 Nov 2002 Submitted by: Wanda Purcell
Trenton Isaac James Schmidt was born September 16, 1997 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Michelle Lynn and Christopher Lee Schmidt. He passed away November 12, 2002 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital, at the age of 5 years, 1 month and 26 days.
Trenton was an active young boy. He loved to work with his daddy and enjoyed helping at the barn with the milk cows. He had just decided that he was big enough to help around the house and would help his mother carry out the trash. He loved Lincoln Logs, trains, book and playing with his brothers.
Trenton enjoyed going to church and preaching. He was often heard during prayer requests to pray for his brothers, mother and dad.
Recently, he and his mother were in the yard and he asked his mother to quit making noise because he couldn't hear God speaking over the noise.
His favorite Bible story was of David and Goliath and he had recently asked for a sling shot.
Services were held Friday, November 15, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Sweetwater School Auditorium, officiated by Andy Taylor and J. M. Ashley. Burial was at the Buffalo cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
