Funeral services for Ronnie Perkins were conducted Monday, June 20, 2005
at 2:30 pm from the Martin Funeral Home Chapel of Sayre, Oklahoma with Reverend
Moses Mast officiating.
Interment followed in the Buffalo Cemetery under the
direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Sayre, Oklahoma.
Ronald "Ronnie" Cloyes Perkins was born September 9, 1953 in Sayre Oklahoma to Stan Perkins and Stella Mae Titsworth and passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005 in Oklahoma City at the age of 51.
Ronnie grew up in the Sayre Oklahoma area graduating from Sayre High School in 1971. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and earned a double major in Geology and Geography from Oklahoma University.
He married his wife Judy in Monte Vista Colorado on September 1, 1988. They lived in Clinton Oklahoma and Oklahoma City before moving to Tuttle Oklahoma where they have been for the last 8 years.
Ronnie was directional driller for Sperry Sun Drilling Service. Ronnie had a great love of fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife Judy of the Tuttle home; a son Ben Perkins of Oklahoma City; a daughter Jacqueline Perkins of Tuttle; his father Stan Perkins of Sayre; two brothers: Jack Perkins and his wife Vanda of Hooker, OK; and Gary Perkins of Clinton, OK. Ronnie is also survived by a host of family and friends.
