Mr. Fair Dean King passed from this life on April 23, 2020, in Wheeler, TX at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 1 day. 

Dean was born to his parents Chevis and Helen (Hofstetter) King February 22, 1936, in Heavener, OK. Dean met Miss Mary Elizabeth King in Lawson, MO where they were married on October 16, 1960. They made their home in Heavener, OK and three sons were born to this union. Mary and Dean had always wished for a daughter and this dream came true in 1974, when they adopted a little girl. They later moved to Kingston, OK where they built a home and continued to maintain it until moving to Wheeler, TX, to be near their daughter. Dean entered into the ministry, and the family traveled to various towns across OK where he pastored. Dean served his faith for over 40 years. He worked for the highway department for over 30 years as well. Dean was a 33 degree mason. He truly enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.

Dean is survived by his 4 children: Joseph Dean King and wife Bonnie of Franklinton, NC, Mark Allen King of Edmond, OK, Paul Edward King of Wheeler, TX, and Angela Louise Davis and husband Terrill of Sweetwater, OK; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren with one on the way; as well as a host of other relatives, longtime friends and neighbors.

Minister Kerry Hookstra will officiate the services. 

Burial will take place at Buffalo Cemetery.
