Mikey grew up in Sayre and attended Sayre schools. After school he worked extremely hard until he met the love of his life Kimberly G. (Crowe) Haas and they eventually married on February 5, 2003 in Wheeler, Texas. Mikey later attended CAT diesel mechanic trade school and obtained his certification in 2010 and went to work for Plains Marketing until recently. Mikey was a lover of life and enjoyed being a father, Papaw and a family man. He also enjoyed going to the lake, weekend motorcycle riding and traveling.
He was preceded in death by both grandparents; 3 uncles, Bill Haas, Calvin Haas, Roger Lowry and 1 aunt, Linda Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home; 3 children, Misty Johnson and husband, Robert, Elk City, OK; Rachel Scheidemantel and husband, Andrew, Elk City, OK and James Fielder, Elk City, OK; 7 grandchildren, Rachel Johnson, Ranae Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Logan Johnson, Jace Johnson, Harley Scheidemantel and Ciara Johnson, 1 great grandchild, Kasen Dixon, his parents, Samuel and Belinda Haas, Elk City, OK; 4 brothers, Kenny Haas and girlfriend, Riki, Elk City, OK, Lonney Haas, Sayre, OK, Donald Haas and wife, Trixie, Burns Flat, OK and Ronnie Haas, Sayre, OK; 1 sister, Michelle Haas and husband, Rex, California and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held November 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Fellowship officiated by Brent Gifford. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com.
