Pauline Leverne (Plemons) (Ware) Gee

Pauline Gee was born December 7, 1937 on a farm near Merritt, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Alma Mae (Lowry) Ware. She passed away on August 8, 2010 at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 1 day.

Pauline grew up around the Sayre area, attending school at Doxey before graduating from Sayre High School in 1956. After high school she worked for Cornels Abstract Company and was also a nurse at the Sayre Hospital.

On August 29, 1959, Pauline was married to Eugene Plemons and to this family three children were born, Dennis, Cindy and Jeannette.

On March 11, 1970 Pauline was married to Clarence Lee Gee at Wheeler, Texas. On September 7, 1972 another son, Douglas was born making this family complete. Pauline continued living on the family farm near Bulo, Oklahoma raising and loving her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pauline loved to sew and crochet and had made each of her children a quilt and crocheted blankets for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to can fruits and vegetables and make jelly from the produce that was raised on the farm.
Pauline loved God and attended church her whole life. She was a member of the Sayre Assembly of God Church. She was a strong Christian and raised her children to be the same.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma, husband, Clarence, a daughter, Jeannette Givins, 1 granddaughter, Cindy Lou Scheuerman, her sister, Thelma, and a son-in-law, Gordon Holm.

She is survived by her father, Wesley Ware, Reydon, Oklahoma; 3 children, Dennis Plemons and wife, LaDonna Plemons, Reydon, Oklahoma, Cindy Holm, Purdy, MO and Douglas Gee and wife, Hiromi, Purdy,MO; 8 grandchildren, Sandra Beer and husband, Wayne, Erick, Oklahoma, Brandon Plemons and Kim Coffin, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Tommy Holt and wife, Trisha, Puyallop, WA, April Ardent and husband, Alan, Casscille, MO, Jennifer Ploemons and Mike Martinez, Reydon, OK, Jr. Sheueman and wife, Samantha, Chouteau, OK, Johnathone Gee, Purdy, MO, Amber Holm, Purdy, MO; 17 great grandchildren, and one on the way; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 10:30 am at Sayre Assembly of God Church officiated by Pastor Jimmy Blanken and Dr. Albert Helton. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
