William R. "Bill Ron" Meyer

April 1, 1982 ~ Sept. 1, 2008

The graveside service for William R. "Bill Ron" Meyer, 26, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in Fairview Cemetery, Clearlake, west of Laverne . The Rev. James Morris will officiate. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home, Laverne . Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born April 1, 1982, in Beaver to Ronald W. and Linda Sue Black Meyer and died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kan.

He attended Laverne schools, graduating in 2001. He was a roustabout and welder's helper by trade.

Surviving are his father, Ron Meyer of Laverne ; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Billy Holmes of Woodward; two sisters, Susan Shrum of Cleburne, Texas, and Mistie Woods of Colony; grandparents, Sue Hays of Laverne , Jim and Maxine Black of Booker, Texas, and Dorothy Black of Perryton, Texas.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, Box 909, Laverne , OK 73848, to Bill Ron Memorial Fund.
