Billy Wayne Sluder

Billy Wayne Sluder, age 83, an Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Monday, August 3, 1942, to Claude and Alma Clytie (Camp) Sluder, at Atoka, OK. Bill passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School, graduated Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors in Forestry, then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary obtaining a Masters of Divinity. Bill was a Minister at Coalgate Missionary Baptist, First Coalgate, College Heights Ada. His 1st Church out of seminary was First Baptist Cotulla, TX for 24 years. He married Amy Jeane (Hill) on Friday, July 3rd, 1964, at First Baptist Reno, Nevada.

Bill was a devoted Pastor and loved studying the Bible. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and doing carpentry work. Bill enjoyed taking his Grandsons hunting and fishing, playing domino's, drinking coffee at Bledsoe's, doing his coffee shop ministry, preaching, he took pride in all his grandsons and the fact they have Biblical names.

Bill was survived by his wife, Amy Jeane Sluder of the home in Atoka, OK; daughter, Cathy and husband Pastor Ben Bush of Live Oak, FL; son, David A. Sluder of Huntsville, TX; grandsons, Joshua Sluder of Huntsville, TX, Caleb A. Sluder of Lamesa, TX, Micah W. Bush and wife Kelsey of Anderson, SC, Nathan A. Bush of Lake City, FL; great grandsons, Luther P. Bush, Virgil C. Bush. Numerous extended family, church family, loved ones, and dear friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Alma Clytie (Camp) Sluder; brother, Gene Sluder.
