Minnie G. Turnbow, age 67, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Mountain Home Cemetery near Daisy with the Reverend Joedy Hendrix officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
Minnie Turnbow was born on January 17, 1949 in Webster Springs, West Virginia. Minnie enjoyed her work as an OSP Guard prior to retirement. She also enjoyed the outdoors (fishing and shooting) baking delicious goodies for special people, politics, sewing, crocheting, her pets and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her fiance Angus Lorenz "Al" Wynn III, daughters, Susan Kordeleski of McAlester and Terry Rulon of Scottsdale, Arizona, her brother Clarence Wilson of Wakeman, Ohio, her sisters Delvina Holbrook and Shirley Morrison of Webster Springs, West Virginia, six grandchildren, Meghan Gauzens, Jarrod Saltis, Jesse Kordeleski, Calvin and Morgen Channon, Douglas Rulon and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fanny Cutlip, Ballard Armentrout, siblings, Lloyd McCartney, Rosetta McCartney, Viola Velasco, Kenneth McCartney and Dorothy McCartney.
Active pallbearers are Bruce Watkins, Gerald Monte, Jarrod Saltis and Calvin Channon.
