James "Bob" Robert Willis, age 82, a longtime Atoka County resident. 

BORN: He was born on Sunday, May 6, 1934, to William "Bud" and Mamie Ruth (Jackson) Willis, at Caney, OK.

 

PASSED AWAY: Bob passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Atoka, OK.

 

AGE:  82 years, 7 months and 3 days.

 

EDUCATION: He graduated from Caney High School.

 

OCCUPATION: Bob retired from Brewer and Anderson Construction after 25 years, His retirement hobby was cutting firewood.

 

MILITARY:  Bob proudly served in the Army during the Korean War.

 

MARRIED: He married Gloria Ann Wisdom in 1963 in Oklahoma.

 

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Bob enjoyed ranching. He loved animals and raising goats. Bob especially enjoyed his grandsons Robert and Tyson with whom he shared his "stories."

                                Mark Watson and wife Brenda of Broken Arrow, OK

                                Dava Derdeyn and husband Pat of Spring, TX

Along with  numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
