Tammy Suzanne Mills passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 60. She was born on April 6, 1965, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Floyd and Joy Ann (Darling) Mills. Tammy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and a beacon of joy in the lives of all who knew her.
Professionally, Tammy was known for her unwavering reliability and kindness as a bus driver, a role she took great pride in. She was an avid crafter, finding joy and peace in creating beautiful things with her hands. Tammy also found pleasure in the excitement of going to the casino, the thrill of a good bargain while shopping, and the simple act of hanging out with friends.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving children, Brandy Dunn and Brian Shipley, Jason Holland and Jaymie Browning, and Justin Holland. Her legacy continues on through her adored grandchildren, Sidney Dunn and Zachary Richards. Tammy was a dear sister to David Mills, Anthony Mills and his wife Sheila, and Tim Mills. She was also a cherished aunt to her niece, Ashley Mills.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Mills and Joy Ann York, whose memory she held close to her heart.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Green Meadows Cemetery in Atoka, with Wade Boyd officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers are Tim Mills, David Mills, Anthony Mills, Jason Holland, Brian Shipley, and Ashley Mills.
