Minnie Lee Copeland, 72, of Durant passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 with loved ones by her side.Minnie was born on November 14, 1945 in Bonham, TX to
Floyd Shelton and Jewel Pearl (Chase) Shelton. She
married Kenneth Copeland on December 29, 1986 in
Denison, TX. She is of the Pentecostal faith and loved
gospel music, cooking, cleaning, and porcelain dolls.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers
Charles Shelton and Ernest Shelton, two sisters Patsy
Rambo and Dottie Shelton.
Minnie is survived by her husband Kenneth Copeland of
the home, two children Jewel Bridges and husband Tommy
of Durant and Mona Harris and husband Ricky of Durant,
five stepchildren Dee Copeland, Donald Copeland, Kenya
Copeland, Susie Copeland, and Tammy Copeland, four
grandchildren Kevin Harris, Ricky Harris, Ernest Evans,
all of Durant and Lisa Orshrn of Dustin, OK, one great
grandson Kevin Harris II of Durant, OK, one brother
George Shelton of Dustin, OK, two sisters Margie Brown
of Dustin, OK, and Martha Houston of Dustin, OK, and
numerous other loving family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday,
January 31, 2018 at Crystal Cemetery.
Family hour will be held at Brown’s Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6-8pm.
