Services for Harry "Buddy" Needham, Jr., 85, Coleman, who passed away Monday,
April 3, 2006, at the Four Seasons Nursing Center, Durant, will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at the Folsom Free Will Baptist Church. Earl White will officiate
assisted by Randy Tadlock.
Buddy was born Oct. 16, 1920, in Kenefic, to Harry, Sr. and Jewell Carroll
Needham. He attended school at Hopewell and married Syble Dean June 3, 1942 in
Wapanucka. He worked for many years for the K.O.&G. Railroad, Southwestern Bell
and as a farmer. Buddy had also been a longtime member of the Hopewell Free Will
Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Hubert, Howard and Kenneth;
and sisters Mary, Fern and Lenora.
He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter Barbara and husband Dwain
Dennis, Coleman; sons Ronald Needham and wife Carolyn, Coleman, Randy Needham
and wife Debbie, Coleman; sister Lucille Tisdell, Dallas, Texas; brother Gene
Needham, Tishomingo; grandchildren Brenda Whitmire, Scott and Melissa Dennis,
Bradley and Stacy Needham, Tiffany and Ashley Needham, Jennifer Hartley, Judy
and Stephen Black; great-grandchildren Tanner and Whitney Whitmire, Tyler and
Scotlyn Dennis, Trinity Needham, Konner Black and Royal Hartley; numerous
nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Interment will follow the service in the Center Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers for
the service will be Adrian Stanley, Donnie Rowland, James Rowland, Robert West,
Jonathan Smith and Joey Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Eldon Pugh and M.H.
Crowell.
Clark Funeral Service, Tishomingo, is handling the arrangements.
