Bill Hawkins a resident of Caddo, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 72 years 8 months and 24 days. He was born to J.C. and Lorene (Kerns) Hawkins in Mead, Oklahoma on Sunday, November 19, 1939. Bill married Ida Mae Perkins in Murphreesboro, Arkansas on Monday, August 23, 1982.
Bill was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Caddo, Oklahoma. He was a break operator for G & W Body Works. Bill loved to go fishing, spending weekends in the Deer Shack and taking rides in the country.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Clint and Charlene Hawkins of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Steve and Linda Hawkins of Caddo, Oklahoma, Leon and Elaine Kelley of Durant, Oklahoma, Virgil and Linda Kelley of Durant, Oklahoma, Charles and Kathy Kelley of Durant, Oklahoma and Bobby and Margaret Kelley of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters and brothers-in-law, Zora Faye and Ed Bell of Norman, Oklahoma, Zelda Maye Bishop of Hawaii, Betty and Tex Williamson of Poteau, Oklahoma, Janie and Ronnie Zachary of Durant, Oklahoma, Jaynell and Larry Rodkey of Durant, Oklahoma and Linda and Randy Gill of Noble, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Kelley; step-father, Clyde Kelley; wife, Ida Mae Hawkins; brothers, Galin and Clyde Kelley; sister, Melba Sue Hawkins.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Caney Cemetery in Caney, Oklahoma with Delbert White officiating. Family and friends may send online condolences and view tributes at www.holmescoffeymurray.com. Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, Durant, Oklahoma.
