HASKEL JASPER GAMMON, AGE 63, LONGTIME ATOKA AREA RESIDENT.
 
BORN:    OCTOBER 25, 1931 AT CLEBET, McCURTAIN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA TO CLENNIE TILTON AND DELCIE (DEAN) GAMMON.
 
PASSED AWAY:   TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 1995 AT HIS ATOKA RESIDENCE.
AGE:   63 YEARS   7 MONTHS   AND   25  DAYS.
 
MARRIED:   ROSA LEE WHITE ON FEBRUARY 18, 1952 AT DEQUEEN, ARKANSAS.
 
EDUCATION:   OBTAINED BACHELOR OF SCIENCE AND MASTERS DEGRESS AT SOUTHEASTERN STATE UNIVERSITY.
 
OCCUPATION:    HASKEL TAUGHT SCHOOL AT CANEY, OK FOR 9 YEARS.  HE WAS A ROUTE CARRIER FOR THE POSTAL SERVICE.  AFTER RETIRING HE WENT INTO INVESTMENT AND REAL ESTATE AND WAS CO-OWNER OF GRIFFIN-GAMMON INVESTMENTS.
 
HASKEL PROUDLY SERVED HIS COUNTRY IN THE KOREAN WAR, WAS THE RECIPIENT OF THE PURPLE HEART FOR A WOUND THAT LEFT HIM HOSPITALIZED IN HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS FOR A YEAR.  HE WAS A LIFETIME MEMBER OF D.A.V., ATOKA POST.

WIFE:    ROSA LEE gammon OF THE HOME.
 
SON:   ALAN GAMMON OF CADDO, OK.
 
DAUGHTERS:   ANN EAVES AND HUSBAND GERALD OF ATOKA, OK.
                             CINDY HUNTER AND HUSBAND BO OF CANEY, OK.
 
GRANDCHILDREN:   JOE DON EAVES  OF ANTLERS, OK.
                                         JIM BOB EAVES OF ATOKA, OK.
                                         SHANDI EAVES OF ATOKA, OK.
                                         B. J. HUNTER OF CANEY, OK.
                                         LACIE HUNTER OF CANEY, OK.
                                         LINDEE GAMMON OF DORCHESTER, TX.
                                         DUSTY GAMMON OF DURANT, OK.
