Christine Gipson Dillard

Christine Dillard, age 69, a longtime Caney, OK resident was born on Wednesday, December 14, 1949, to Carrie Gipson, at West Alison, Atoka County, OK. Christine passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Denison, TX.

Christine was a housewife and homemaker. She worked for Caney Schools as a teacher's aide, worked at Wal Mart, and worked for the Choctaw Nation for over ten years. She married Glen Houston Dillard on Saturday, July 16th, 1966 at Atoka, OK.

Christine was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Choctaw Nation and was active in the Atoka Choctaw Seniors Group. She loved reading, crocheting, and scrapbooking. She loved going to casinos and visiting with people. Christine enjoyed computer gaming and playing Candy Crush. She was always helping others and loved being with her family. Material things meant nothing to her to be happy in life.

Christine is survived by her husband Glen Houston Dillard of the home; sons, Randel Dillard and wife Linda of Caney, OK, Anthony Dillard and wife Janie of Caney, OK; grandchildren, Jeffrey Dillard of Durant, OK, Brad Miller and wife Brandi of Caney, OK, Toby Miller and wife Ileana of Pensacola, FL, Eric Dickerson of Caney, OK, Chris Dickerson and wife Marcella of Durant, OK, Johnathan Dickerson of Amarillo, TX; great grandchildren, Avery Dickerson, Zachary Dickerson, Jalie Miller, Jersie Miller, Trenton Miller, Travis Miller; brother, Ted LeFlore; Along with numerous nieces and nephews and other beloved family and friends.

Christine is preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Gipson; brothers, Preston LeFlore, Anderson LeFlore, Don LeFlore, Thompson LeFlore Jr., Charles Gipson, Harold Gipson; foster brother, Wilbur Allen; sisters, JoAnn Jackson; foster sister, Retha Blackwood; step sister, Emiline Waggoner
