Alton Glenn Wilson, born September 28, 1958, to Alfred and Mary Wilson in Lane, OK. Alton passed away on March 9, 2026 in Atoka, OK surrounded by the memories of a life spent enjoying the simple things he loved most. Alton attended Lane School, then graduated from Atoka High School. Alton was a man who found joy in the outdoors. He loved deer hunting and fishing, especially setting out a trot line. Alton enjoyed gardening growing and selling watermelons, cutting and chopping wood, and hauling logs. In his spare time, he also enjoyed going to the casino and playing a good game of bingo at the Elks Lodge. He will always be remembered for the good times he shared with friends and family.

Alton is survived by his mother, Mary Bernice Nelson of Lane; his sisters, Kathy Moore of Lane and Sandy Wilson of Atoka; and his nephews and nieces: John Allen Blair of Galveston, Texas; Micah Moore of Durant, Oklahoma; Candice Smith of Bentley; Jesse Jordan of Atoka; Tracy Jordan of Atoka; Laranda Jordan of Atoka; David Jordan of Atoka; Brandon Wilson of Atoka; and Natasha Cunningham of Lane.

He also leaves behind two very special friends, Bradley Page of Lane and Pat Kennedy of Lane, along with numerous friends, extended family members, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred "Bo" Wilson Jr.; his brother, David Wilson; his sister, Nora Wilson; his grandparents, Martha Tyler, Albert Tyler, and Alfred Wilson Sr.; his aunt, Sharon Aaron; and his uncles Charles Tyler, Dempsey Wilson, Rivus Wilson, Haywood Wilson, and Bob Aaron.

Alton will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
