Lorena Gale (Butler) Rector, age 83, a longtime Farris, OK resident. BORN: She was born on Wednesday, September 09, 1931, to Dewey William and Flossie (Pruitt) Butler, at Farris, OK. PASSED AWAY: Lorena passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Hugo, OK. AGE: 83 years, 11 months and 5 days. EDUCATION: She attended Atoka High School. OCCUPATION: Lorena was a homemaker. MARRIED: She married Billy Rector on August 11, 1954 in Antlers, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: She was a charter member of the Farris Baptist Church. She was a very active member of "Publisher's Clearing House". Lorena was active in Avon and Finger Hut; enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning, taking care of her cows, dogs and chickens. She was a mother to all kids, hers or not, She was probably the best nurse of the elderly while she was in the nursing home. SURVIVED BY HUSBAND: Billy Rector of the home in Farris, OK CHILDREN: Jimmie Wayne Ham and wife Cindy of San Antonia, TX Brenda Wilson and husband Bobby of Farris, OK Stanley Ham and wife Bonnie of Farris, OK John Rector and wife Judy of Farris, OK 20 GRANDCHILDREN 46 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN 7 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, The Butler and Rector Families and many dear and loved friends.
