Chelsie Carol Stephen Chelsie Carol Stephen, 34, of Atoka, Oklahoma, passed away on March 12, 2026, at her home in Tushka, Oklahoma.
Chelsie was born on May 5, 1991, in Antlers, Oklahoma, to Wallace Earl Lyda and Laura Lynn Stephen. She attended Atoka Schools and graduated in 2009.
Chelsie worked for the Choctaw Nation in cage operations as a cashier. Chelsie enjoyed gardening and loved planting flowers, especially sunflowers. She also enjoyed attending Tushka Baptist Church and spending time with her son and with family and friends. Chelsie shared many years with her soulmate, Michael Cross.
Chelsie is survived by her son, Coapen RyLynn Stephen of the home; her soulmate, Michael Cross; her mother, Laura Stephen of Atoka; her sister, Courtney Stephen; and special friends Larissa and Bryan Hamilton, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Chelsie was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Earl Lyda; her maternal grandparents, Lynn and Carolyn Stephen; and her paternal grandmother, Vickie Lyda.
