NAME: Ruth Evelyn (Estep) Clement, age 89, a longtime Atoka, OK resident.

 

BORN: She was born on Thursday, July 28, 1927, to Floyd and Mary Evelyn (Williams) Estep, at Anna, TX.

 

PASSED AWAY: Ruth passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Atoka, OK.

 

AGE:  89 years, 7 months and 1 day.

 

EDUCATION: She attended Bentley and Atoka High School.

 

OCCUPATION: Ruth worked for Fram Filter Co. in Tulsa, then later became a housewife and homemaker.

 

MARRIED: She married HC Clement Jr. on June 30, 1945 in Durant, OK. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2013.

 

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Ruth was a  longtime member of Bentley Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word find, and watching the QVC channel.  Ruth loved to garden and grow flowers, but her FAVORITE hobby was collecting dolls. She stated that some of her happiest times involved watching doll shows and she acquired a collection of over 250 dolls.

DAUGHTER:       Sandra Jane Richardson of Bentley, OK

GRANDCHILDREN:         Tonya Chandler Faeo of Anchorage, AK

                                Kevin Richardson and wife Emily of  Durant, OK

                                Michael Clement of Durant, OK

                                Jamie Lane and husband Will of Bentley, OK

                                Dustin Richardson of Dayton, TX

GRANDCHILDREN:         Kaleb, Hope, Cheyenne & Isabelle of Anchorage, AK

                                Alexis, Sean Tomlinson and Gavin Lane of Bentley, OK

                                Caylie and Kaytlin Richardson of Dayton, TX

Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
