Peggy Jo Sweatt
Helena, OK. -- Peggy Jo Sweatt, 56, died early Thursday (March 5, 1987) in a Cherokee, OK. hospital after a long illness. Her funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday (March 7, 1987) at First Christian Church in Helena. The Rev. Litton Logan will officiate and burial will be at Timberlake Cemetery, directed by Kenny Lanman Funeral Home of Helena.
(Peggy Jo was born May 22, 1930 in Helena to Jack & Lela Snider.)
Survivors include her husband, Noble; sons, William D. Sweatt, Tulsa, OK., Gene E. Sweatt and Charles L. Sweatt, both of Helena; sisters, Dorothy Wagner, Monahans, TX. and Belva Shoemaker, Watonga, OK.; brothers, Jerry Snider of Warner, OK. and Jackie Snider, Kingfisher, OK.; three grandchildren and stepmother Avis Snider, Helena.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church with the funeral home serving as custodian.
The casket will be open at the church before the service.
