The funeral for Lula Mae Elliott Brown Shaw, 90, of Jet, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lanman Funeral Home Chapel, Helena. The Revs. Gary Wallace and Jim Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow in Timberlake Cemetery, southwest of Jet. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
She was born Sept. 13, 1914, in Aline to George Lowell Elliott and Mattie Elizabeth Kelley Elliott and died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Greenbriar Nursing Home.
She married William Judson Brown Jan. 22, 1931, in Enid. Following his death she married Russell Wade Shaw Jan. 9, 1990, in Miami. She was a life-long residentof the Aline and Jet areas and a member of Followers of Jesus Christ.
Surviving are three sons, Judson LaDell Brown of Roanoke, Texas, William Lee Brown of Seattle and David Lynn Brown of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Mary Alice Ringlaben of Houston and Luvena Ann Morris of Belguim; two sisters, Mary Slade of Winfield, Kan., and Artie Rose Jones of St. John, Kan.; one brother, Dale Elliott of Aline; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, four brothers and two sisters.
