PIONEER PASSES AWAY
With the death of Grandpa Robins, Alfalfa county loses her oldest resident and pioneer. He had reached the advanced age of 95 years, 9 months and 28 days.
The extreme heat of the past summer work heavily upon Grandpa’s vitality and on Monday morning he passed to is reward at the home of his son John south of town.
Mr. Robbins was probably the oldest man in the county, and came here at the opening of the Strip. A full and complete obituary will be given next week.
The funeral will be from the Mennonite church this (Friday) afternoon, with Rev. J. M. Edgar officiating.
