HELENA--- Graveside services for Gerald Lee Pfalser 71, were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 1996 in the Timberlake Cemetery, northeast of Helena. Floyd Dodson officiated. Arrangements were by Kenny Lanman Funeral Home, Helena.
Gerald was born Aug. 13, 1924, in Jet to William L. and Opal E. Elliott Pfalser and died Thursday, Jan.4, 1996, at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital, Enid. He and his family lived in Kingman, Kan. where he graduated from high school. He then attended one year of college. He joined the United States Navy during World War II and served as a fireman first class.
On June 19, 1955, he married Elaine Sparks at Jet. They lived in Wichita, Kan., later moving to the Helena area where they lived for 32 years. He was a farmer and attended the Church of God International. Surviving are his wife , Elaine of the home; two daughters, Karen Gordonwood of Edmond and Sharon Merry of Big Cabin; two brothers, Warren of Wichita and Bill of Kingman, Kan.; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
