Helena, OK. -- The funeral for Edna Crain, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Congregational United Church of Christ in Goltry, OK. with the Rev. Brett Collins and the Rev. Van Herd officiating.
Burial will be in the Timberlake Cemetery, near Jet, OK. Arrangements are by Kenny Lanman Funeral Home, Helena.
She died Sunday, Feb. 25, 1990, at an Enid, OK. nursing home. She was born Nov. 12, 1902, at Oakwood, in Oklahoma Territory. She moved at an early age with her family to the Timberlake community, where she attended Star School.
In 1919, the family moved to Guthrie, OK. She married William Harold Crain on Dec. 2, 1920, in Guthrie. They returned to the Timberlake community where they ran the farm that her husband was born on. He died March 10, 1977.
Crain is survived by three son; Bill and Charles Crain, both of Helena, OK., and Jim Crain, Goltry, OK.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and a son, Gene, who died Jan. 1, 1981.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation's heart or cancer division. The funeral home will be trustee of the funds.
