The mass of Christian burial for Richard Stanley "Rick" Severin is 10:00 AM Monday, December 4, 2017 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Goltry. Rev. Joseph Irwin will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:00 Sunday evening in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Deacon Tony Crispo will officiate.

Rick was born March 5, 1955 in Enid to Anton and Mary (Craddock) Severin and died Thursday, November 30, 2017 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He attended Helena-Goltry schools and graduated with the class of 1973. He then attended Northwestern University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Education. He went to work for Pettus/Piersall Hardware in Helena for several years. He also owned and operated RNB Plumbing along with Neal Wallace. He and his brother Frank also ran a custom harvesting business. He had been working at Farmers Exchange Co Op for the last sixteen years. All this time he was also helping his Dad on the family farm. On April 24, 1999 he married Susan Chase and the couple made their home in Goltry. He was a lifelong member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. He was a member of the Goltry Volunteer Fire Department since 2002. He enjoyed welding was an avid model train enthusiast and loved leathercraft. He made many gifts for friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Susan of the home, two brothers, Stephen Severin and wife Mary Ann and Frank Severin and wife Sheryl of Meno, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to either the Good Samaritan Fund or OMRF (Heart Division).
