DOLORES ELAINE WELLS
Funeral services for Dolores Elaine Wells, age 73, of Enid, will be Friday, November 25, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jet United Methodist Church. Rev. Carrell Still will officiate. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Jet. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born July 19, 1932, to Johnny and Margaret Yapp (Roberts) Miller in Protection, KS and died November 21, 2005, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. She married Marvin J. Wells, April 25, 1968, in Woodward, OK. She saw three sons go to war and return home safely. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Her favorite saying for her age was "39 and holding."
She is survived by her husband Marvin of the home; children Leland and Jody Cheap of Schertz, TX; Dean and Becky Ratliff of Woodward; Sherwood and Susan Wells of Avon Park FL., and Michael Wells of Arlington, VA; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to the Jet United Methodist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be sent to the family at ladusauevans.com. (Paid Obit 11-24-2)
