April 9, 1924 - June 25, 2024

Funeral services for Victor Nichols, age 100, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Monday, July 1, 2024, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Pullin officiating. A private burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Victor was born April 9, 1924, in Meno, OK, to John and Lena (Koehn) Nichols, and passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in Enid. Victor married Dora Emery on June 13, 1942 in Cherokee, OK. They lived in Jet for several years, where he joined the Marine Corps. When he returned, they moved to the family farm south of Goltry, where they raised their three daughters. Then they moved to Carrier in 1959, where he owned a mechanic shop and later did custom cutting. When living in Carrier, he and Dora where members of the Carrier Congregational Church, and when he moved to Enid, he became a member of the East Maine Nazarene Church.

He is survived by three daughters; Adella McDowell, Rita (Loren) Frey, Helen (Jim) Geminden; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dora; granddaughter Kendra Frey; son in law Bob McDowell; two brothers and two sisters.

Memorial contributions in Victor's name may be made to East Maine Nazarene Church, or Donors Choice, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
