The graveside service for Doris L. McCutchan, 83, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010, in Pleasant View Cemetery, Jet. Chaplain Steve Myer will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Doris was born Aug. 26, 1926, in Jet, Okla., to George and Sylvia Hopkins Hart and died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Servant Living Center, Medford. She married Merlin E. Morse Sept. 18, 1944, in Jet, Okla. They farmed in the Nash area, later moving to Pond Creek. She married Albert Lee in 1970 in Enid. In 1995, she moved to Pond Creek. In July 2004, she moved to Servant Living Center, Medford. She was a member of Enid Eastern Star. She loved her grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother and one grandson. She is survived by three sons, Lonnie R. Morse of Portland, Ore., Ferrell L. Morse and wife Pat of Pond Creek and Dickie R. Morse and wife DeeAnn of Nash; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Cemetery.

Albert L. (Ike) McCutchan, 47, 402 S. Washington, died Thursday morning following several months of illness. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 PM in Henninger – Allen Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Lambert officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites concluded with full military honors will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Jet.

McCutchan, son of Albert and Rebecca McCutchan, was born September 8, 1926, in Helena. He attended schools in the Goltry area. Operated his own plumbing business in Enid at the time of his death. He was a member of the Congregational Church in Goltry, Anderson Lodge No. 160 AF&AM, Goltry, Scottish Rite Orient, Guthrie, Order of the Eastern Star Enid chapter No. 36, and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a veteran of US Navy during WW I I in the Southwest Pacific area. On July 23, 1970, he and Doris Morse were married in Enid.

Survivors include his wife, Doris, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Orpha) McGugan, Enid; three stepsons, Lonnie Morse, North Enid, Ferrell Morse, Pond Creek, and Dick Morse, Hillsda;e; three step – grandchildren; and his mother – in – law, Mrs. Sylvia Hitchcock, Cherokee.

The family requests that those who wish make contribution to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division. Henninger- Allen will act as custodians of this fund.
