VINNIE LAMBERT
The funeral for Vinnie Lambert, 93, of Jet, OK. will be 1 p.m. today at Church of the Nazarene, Jet. The Revs. Dean Holt and Kenneth Burnham will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, north of Jet. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Cherokee. The casket will be open before the service at the church.
She was born Aug. 14, 1912, on a farm east of Jet, OK. to Melvin and Louise Campbell Williamson and died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, while living in Alva, OK.
She was raised in Jet and graduated from Jet High School.
She married Jim Lambert June 10, 1934. He died April 23, 1982. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter, Jimmie Ruth Diskin of Cheney, Kan.; a son, Steve Lambert of Jet, OK.; her twin sister, Linnie VanOsdol; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Jim, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Jet Church of the Nazarene or Jet Senior Citizens Center.
