Mark Allen Goss was born August 8, 1964 in Alva, Oklahoma to Frank Alden Goss, Jr. and Mary Ellyn (Patton) Goss. Mark passed from this life in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma on October 20, 2020 at age 56.

Mark was raised by loving parents. He graduated high school from Aline-Cleo in 1982. He was an excellent baseball player even earning all-state honors. Mark was also very involved with FFA where he was a successful pig showman and earned a state farmers degree during his senior year. He then went on to work for Enron as a Corrosion Technologist. Mark later became a skilled craftsman specializing in woodworking. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and creating woodworking projects. Mark was a loving father, son, and friend who always made everyone laugh with his quick-witted remarks. Being around him was truly an adventure.

Mark is survived by his mother, Mary Goss of Enid; daughter, Baylie Goss and partner, Wesley Brooks of Oklahoma City; son, Shane Goss of Wisconsin; granddaughters, Ariana Goss, Ophelea Brooks, Penelope Goss; grandson, Theodore Brooks; sister, Kristie Goss of Enid; niece, Kasie Bramwell and husband, Jerrid of Enid and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Goss, Jr.

There will be a graveside memorial service held Friday, October 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. All family and friends are invited to attend. Donations for Mark’s memorial may be sent to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery to help keep the cemetery beautiful at the following address:
