Aline-Funeral service for Frank A. Goss, Jr. will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Aline United Methodist Church with Rev. Rachel Parrott and Rev. Kason Oakes officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery southwest of Aline. Viewing will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with family present 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Frank A. Goss, Jr. was born February 19, 1942 in Aline to parents, Frank Alden Goss, Sr. and Mollie Young Goss. He departed this life on August 5, 2016 at his home in Aline. Frank and Mary E. Patton were married September 2, 1961 at Ringwood. Frank was a Measurement Technician working with oil companies.

He was awarded the Honorary Chapter Farmer Award and a Meritorious Safety Award from Phillips Petroleum Company. Frank was a board member of South Alfalfa County Ambulance Service for many years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, working in his yard and garden and spending time with friends and family. In 2007, Frank was blessed with a new heart which gave him another nine years during which he met his three great-grandchildren. His church was the Aline United Methodist Church.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Mollie Goss; sisters, Virginia Kinney, Genella Houston, Pearl Cravens and one brother, Alden Jr.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Goss of Aline; two children, Kristie Goss of Enid and Mark Goss of Aline; one brother, Bill Goss and wife, Betty of Aline; three sisters, Dorthy Stallings of Mustang, Mary Peters and husband, Roy of Seiling and Georgie Haltom and husband, C. E. of Enid; three grandchildren, Shane Goss, Kasie Bramwell and husband, Jerrid and Baylie Goss and Wesley Brooks; three great-grandchildren, Ariana Goss, Gavin Bramwell and Ophelea Brooks; many other family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to Aline United Methodist Church or Toby Keith OK Kids Corral in memory of Cash Caywood with Lanman Funeral Home as custodian.
