ELNOR F. DAILY
Elnor F. Baker Daily died Wednesday morning, September 28, 2005 at Highland Park Manor, Enid, OK.
She was born March 10, 1928, in Wichita, KS. to Ralph and Opal Strode Baker. She graduated from Carmen, OK. High School with honors and received her degree from Phillips University in Enid, in 1950.
Elnor moved to Memphis, TN. where she married Eugene Britton. She returned to Enid in the mid 1960's where she worked at Utopia Oil Company. She later married James A. Dailey who preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. today at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve Samples officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. today at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery north of Carmen, OK.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Hale and granddaughter Amelia Hale, both of Dallas, TX.; three sisters, Helen Koehn of Carmen, OK., Evelyn and Ed Pennington of Tulsa, OK., and Ramona Herren of Cherokee, OK.; one brother, Richard and Joan Baker of Aline, OK.; and her long-time friend, Don Weber of Enid, OK.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie Baker and Lewis Baker and by her father and mother.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery through the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, Enid, OK. Condolences may be made to the family at www.ladusau-evans.com
