Olive B. BENNETT
Mrs. Richard (Olive) Bennett, 83, of Aline Oklahoma died in the Alfalfa County Hospital in Cherokee, Oklahoma. Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, December 27,1976 in the First United Methodist Church of Aline with the Rev. Doug Thatcher officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery north of Carmen. Arrangements were handled by Wentworth Mortuary in Carmen.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Freeport Kansas May 10, 1898 and passed away on December 24, 1976. She came to Oklahoma with her family at the opening of the Cherokee Strip. On May 13,1914, she married Richard Bennett in Carmen. The couple lived in the Carmen, Orienta, Aline and Yewed areas. They returned to Aline in March of 1946.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of the home; a daughter Mrs. B.E. (Doris) Davis of Muskogee, Oklahoma; a son, LeRoy of Wheatland, California; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
