Rosemary Jane (Neese) Magee
February 29, 1928 - August 31, 2022

Graveside services for Rosemary Magee will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery north of Carmen, with Ryan Shelton officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Wentworth Mortuary, LLC. Rosemary Jane Neese was born February 29, 1928, the youngest of the six children of Elza and Byrd (Lee) Neese, on the farm her Grandpa Robert Neese claimed in the Land Run of 1893, southeast of Carmen, and left this world August 31, 2022. At a very young age she was given a nickname, which almost everyone knew her by, "Rosie."

Rosemary attended school her first three years in a one-room school, Richvalley, District 92, and later attended Carmen Public School, graduating with the Class of 1946.

She was baptized into Christ March 25, 1941, and attended the Helena Church of Christ and Carmen Christian Church.

On December 25, 1945, she married Jack Magee at Cherokee, Oklahoma. For the first five years of their marriage they lived on Magee Farm, southwest of Carmen. This was where their two sons Jack and Steven were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years Jack, three brothers and their wives, two sisters and their husbands, a sister-in-law and her husband, and her mother and father-in-law.

She is survived by two sons, Jack and wife Connie, of Clever, Missouri, Steven and wife Irala, of Edmond; five grandchildren, Rod Magee and wife Lisa, of Piedmont, Sean Magee and wife Stacy, of Mulvane, Kansas, Noel Magee of Clever, Missouri, Angela Shelton and husband Ryan, of Ponca City, and Pamela Magee of Edmond; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan Magee, Jonna Parker and husband Taylor, Brianna Magee, Megan Magee, Maddison Grace Magee, Andrew Jack Shelton, Ezra Shelton, Neesa Shelton; two great-great grandchildren, Isaac Scott Parker and Ivy Jane Parker; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the mortuary to the Carmen After 55 Club or the Carmen Park Fund.
