Burial will follow at 4:00 pm in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Carmen, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends at the church for a visitation on Wednesday morning, from 10am to 11:30 am prior to the start of service.
Norma was born March 7, 1934 in Lambert, Oklahoma, to H. LeRoy and Ruth Winona (Murphy) Green, and passed away July 27, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Both of us grew up in the Carmen and Aline public schools. God richly blessed her life with loving parents, a brother and sister. She met the love of her life, Raymond Lynn Lamle, and they married March 28, 1952. They were blessed with three caring sons and their wives and families. Raymond began working for Frisco Railroad in 1954. He started on the extra board, where we had to move very often to the old-fashioned depot from Northwest Oklahoma, to Eldorado, Texas, and from Oklahoma City to Ft. Worth, Texas. Raymond was a telegraph operator at the depot.
We were a very close family and traveled a lot, until the boys started school. Raymond retired in 1993, then he and Norma started volunteering at Bass Baptist Hospital, in Enid, Oklahoma until 2024.
Through the years we have enjoyed playing cards with several friends every Friday afternoon at our homes.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Ruth Green, brother, Floyd Green, and twin great-granddaughters, Allie and Brynn Lamle. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Raymond Lamle, of Enid; three sons, Ken Lamle and wife Rita, of Lillian, Alabama; Kris Lamle and wife Carla, of Oklahoma City; Kevin Lamle and wife Tammie, of Tulsa; a sister, Kathy Jenkins, of Dallas-Ft. Worth area; four grandchildren, Blake Lamle and wife Crystal, of Medford; Lindsay Henry and husband Chris, of Kremlin; Stratton Lamle, of Tulsa; and Keaton Lamle and wife Alex, of Decatur, GA.; as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Our lives have been so blessed by God, with family, friends, and church.
Memorial contributions in Norma's name may be made to House of Grace Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
