Maple Grove Cemetery


April 27, 1875 - September 17, 1958

Funeral for G. W. Jones, 83, of Clinton was held in the Carmen Christian church Sunday afternoon. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, east of Carmen. He died September 17 of a heart attack in Clinton.

Jones was a member of the I00F Lodge. The family lived in the Carmen and Lambert communities for many years.

He was the father of Mrs. William Terrel of southwest of Carmen. Other survivors are five more daughters, two sons, 19 grandchildren and three step – grandchildren.
