Maple Grove Cemetery


The funeral for Flora “Sis” Juanita Arganbright, 89, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Friends Church, Cherokee. The Revs. Ken Keeling and Tom Cooksey will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Ar-rangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Cherokee. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born May 3, 1917, in Cherokee to Wheeler and Lottie Ferbrache Harper and died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Enid.
She married Roy A. Argan-bright Oct. 23, 1937, in Buffalo. He died in 1977. She lived in the Cherokee area all her life.
She worked at Van’s Cleaners, Cherokee Manor and Bob’s Retail and was a member of Friends Church.
Surviving are two sons, Bill Arganbright of Sayre and Don “Butch” Arganbright of Cherokee; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Roy, she was preceded in death by one brother, one grandson and one great-grandson.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Friends Church.
