Lewis Lee Kasparek, 89, Conroe, Texas
Lewis Lee Kasparek, 89, son of Mabel (Bales) and Joe E. Kasparek, was born on Feb. 2, 1915, in Alva. He passed away at the Park Manor Nursing Home in Conroe, Texas, on Dec. 29, 2004.
Mr. Kasparek was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel, a Friends minister; his father, Joe; a small sister, Lola Mabel; two brothers: Russell in 1934 and Paul in 1985.
Lewis is survived by three sons and their spouses: Dr. Jerry L. of Charlotte, N.C.; Joe E. and Ann of Montgomery, Texas; and Dr. Gene A. and Danne of Rock Hill, S.C.; eight grandchildren: JoD, Jon, Gil, Julie, Jill, Dori, Sam and Ben; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Wharton Funeral Chapel with Brad Hofen, pastor, Cherokee Friends Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Keith Cemetery at Burlington. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made online at www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.
In lieu of flowers, the Kasparek family would appreciate donations to The Lighthouse Hospice, 200 Riverpointe Dr., Conroe, Texas.
