The funeral service for Terry is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Congregational Church in Goltry. Burial follows at Karoma Cemetery, with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena. There will be no public viewing. Condolences may be made at www.LanmanMemorials.com.
Terry was born August 17, 1944, to Carl Emil Streich and Elsie Dittner Streich in Goltry and passed from this life on March 29, 2017 in Enid. Terry lived in Goltry for 72 years, less the six months he lived in Tulsa. Terry graduated from Goltry High School in 1962 and then attended NWOSU and OSU. He also served in the Oklahoma National Guard. He worked at Champlin Petroleum in Enid and American Rockwell in Tulsa. He purchased his first farm at the age of twenty-one and continued to farm until his death. Terry's four grandchildren could always put a smile on his face.
He is preceded by his parents, Emil and Elsie, and siblings, Merle and Deloris.
Terry is survived by his two children, Mitchell Streich and wife, Deysi of Goltry, and Marlo Flournoy and husband, Michael of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Justin, Allison, Colin and Connor; and life partner of nineteen years, Linda Cottom; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Osborn West of New York City, N.Y., Tiani Osborn Quinn of Stamford, Conn., Greg Streich of Lititz, Pa.; great nieces, Rebecca Quinn and Maura Quinn.
Memorials may be given to Goltry Fire Department, through the funeral home.
