Nora E. Schmidt
A graveside service for Nora E. Schmidt, 106, will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, OK. Roy Johnson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nora was born April 2, 1901, in In-man, KS, to David and Susie (Becker) Penner and died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, in Helena, OK.
She lived most of her life in the Carrier and Goltry area.
She married Ed Schmidt Oct. 4, 1919, in Goltry, OK.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Johnson and husband Roy of Enid, and Violet McGuire of Tulsa, OK; two grandsons, Mike Pilgrim and wife Barbara of Boca Raton, FL, and Mickey Pilgrim and wife Mary Ellen of Tulsa, OK; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, four grandchildren and 10 brothers and sisters.
