Fern LeRoy "Roy" Noll passed Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, due to complications of surgery. He was 82 years old.

Roy was a long time resident of Enid, Okla., since 1956, when he became a professional representative of Merck & Co. Roy retired from them after 33 years but remained very active as a master gardener, an avid photographer and an excellent cook. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Roy was born and reared on a farm outside of Jamesport, Mo., July 24, 1928. He attended Kirksville College in Missouri, then spent four years in the Navy serving in the Korean conflict. Roy was a 32 Degree Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Nola, of Enid, Okla.; son, Noland "Lee" Noll of Tucson, Ariz.; and one sister, Alice Darnell, who with her husband Greg live in Orange City, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Maggie Noll; his brother, C.E. Noll; and his other sister, Norma McReynolds.

Service will be 2 p.m. today, Jan. 7, 2011, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, 2800 N Van Buren. Interment will be in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, under the kind direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
