HELEN C. NEITZ LUGINBILL
Funeral services for Helen C. Luginbill, age 86, of Enid will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 in Christ United Methodist Church. Rev. Sherry Shaw will officiate. Burial will follow in Karoma Cemetery at Goltry, OK. Arrangements are with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Helen was born January 25, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA. to Henry and Elizabeth May Rittenhouse Neitz and died early Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2005 at her home.
She graduated high school in the Philadelphia School system. In 1957 she moved to Enid to live with her brother, Robert, who was stationed at Vance Air Force Base as a pilot. Helen worked for W.B. Johnston Grain Company in Enid for 24 years as a bookkeeper.
On January 21, 1960, Helen married Leonard Luginbill at the Christian Church in Jet, OK. They made their home in Enid and were there until her death.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and also a member of U.M.W. (United Methodist Women).
Helen is survived by her husband, Leonard Luginbill, of the home, two brothers, Bill Neitz of PA., and Br. General Robert Neitz (Retired) of Burke, VA., a sister, Elizabeth Eickner of PA., and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.

A Celebration of Life Service for Leonard Ray Luginbill, age 89, of Enid, is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at the Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Susan Southall officiating. Burial follows in the Karoma Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Leonard was born Nov. 22, 1927, to Fred and Estella Luginbill on the farm near Goltry. He attended school in Jet. Leonard served in the Navy during WWII and the Army during the Korean War, with the 140th Tank Battalion. On Jan. 1, 1960, he married his best friend Helen Neitz. He retired from a local trucking company after 25 years. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and time spent on the Gulf during the winter months with his wife Helen. Leonard was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and lifetime member of VFW.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, father Fred, mother Estella, and brother Lennis.

He is survived by his brother Bill Luginbill, of Enid; niece, Julie Darras and family of Ada; nephew Melvin Luginbill and family of Antlers; nephew Phillip Luginbill and family of Fairmont; and extended family, Deana and Bruce Wilson of Enid.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
